Re: State President’s Official Visit to the Southeast District

 
You are cordially invited to join the Southeast District and host Lodge Jupiter #2469

as State President Tom Ludwick and his wife, Joyce, visit on July 26th & 27th, 2019. 

Vice President at Large Rudy Masi, and his wife, Dolly, will be accompanying them.

The President’s party will be arriving at the Fairfield Marriott Jupiter, by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 26th, 2019.  We will meet and greet our State President in the Hospitality Room.  

That evening we will travel to West Palm Beach Lodge #1352, located at 6188 Belvedere Rd, West Palm Beach, for Hors d'oeuvres and Dinner at 6 p.m., hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary and catered by Gun Club Café. Choice of Beef Tenderloin or Stuff Chicken Breast with Salad and Dessert. Price is $20 payable to WPB Lodge #1352. Reservations by July 21st by phone 561-686-1352. Dress for the evening is Business Casual.

Saturday morning breakfast will be available at the Fairfield Marriott for the guests from 6-9 am. Breakfast is free for registered hotel guests.  At 9:30 a.m., we will travel to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center for a one-hour tour of the marine turtle hospital and facilities. The Center will charge a fee of $12 at the door for all access.  At the conclusion of the tour, we will have a picnic lunch at DuBois Park in the Jupiter Inlet.  Lunch will hosted by Jupiter Boy Scout Troop 109.  We will travel to the Busch Wildlife Center in Jupiter for a tour of the wild animal non-profit Sanctuary and treatment hospital.  A voluntary contribution to the hospital is at visitor discretion.  For the days’ activities, dress should be summer light casual wear.

Upon conclusion of the tour, the party will return to the hotel to relax prior to the evening’s activities.  Anticipate a return to the Fairfield by 3 pm. Hospitality room activities will be available.

Saturday evening’s dinner will be hosted by Jupiter Lodge #2469 located at 10070 W. Indiantown Road, Jupiter Farms.  Hors D’oeuvres will be served at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner will begin with shrimp stuffed grilled avocado salad, with choice of Lemon and Garlic Cornish Hen or Baked Snapper served with baked Sweet Potato and Mixed Veggies, followed by Crème Brûlée for dessert. Cost for dinner is $15 per person. The dress for the evening is business suit and cocktail attire.

The Presidential Party will be staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott, 6748 W Indiantown Road, FL-706, Jupiter, FL 33458.
